With their mesmerizing glow and rare natural hue, these 7.0-7.5 mm silver-blue baroque akoya pearls are true accidents of nature—beautiful, unrepeatable, and entirely unique. Each strand is a celebration of the unexpected beauty the ocean can create.
These pearls are cultivated in Japan and naturally form their striking silver-blue color when trace proteins become trapped between the nucleus and the nacre during pearl development. The result is a permanent, naturally occurring hue that’s both soft and hauntingly luminous, with overtones that shift in the light.
Each necklace is composed of baroque pearls—each one with its own organic shape and character—hand-selected for balance, luster, and rich color. These strands are available in 16 and 18 inches, with every necklace hand-knotted on twin silk and finished in our Los Angeles studio with a solid 14 karat white gold clasp and safety hook.
Because these pearls form by chance, they are exceptionally rare and difficult to source. We only offer them when we can collect enough to create a harmonious, well-matched strand. No two are ever exactly alike—making your necklace as individual as you are.
If you're looking for a piece that stands apart from the traditional, with all the heritage and elegance of Japanese akoya, this is a strand to treasure.
