About the Assael Collection

A long strand of sixty-one round pearls measuring 12.1–14.2 mm, totaling a substantial 52.2 momme, combining two of the most prized pearl types in one piece, golden South Sea from the Philippines and dark Tahitian from French Polynesia. The pearls run from deep charcoal and peacock to warm gold, all natural untreated color, with thick nacre and strong luster.

Pairing golden and Tahitian pearls in a single matched strand is uncommon. The two are about as far apart in color as pearls get, so alternating them into a balanced light-and-dark rhythm at this size takes real matching. Each pearl was selected for size progression, color balance, and surface quality.

Finished at approximately 33.75 inches with a substantial 18K yellow gold diamond ball clasp set with 158 natural diamonds totaling 2.02 carats.

A one-of-a-kind strand, impossible to reproduce. Once it sells, it will not be made again.
