About the Assael Collection

For more than 80 years, Assael has been one of America's most important pearl houses, known for supplying exceptional pearls to leading jewelers and collectors. Many pieces in this collection were matched and assembled over decades, with pearls of a quality and scale that are increasingly difficult to source today.

Pearl Paradise was entrusted with this finite collection as these pieces moved out of the traditional retail channel. They are now offered directly to clients, without passing through the customary retail layer.

Natural pearl and pearl-shape diamond ring
Pear-shape diamond 5.05 ct, G/VS2 (GIA) · ten natural saltwater pearls 4.4–6.0 mm, 10.95 ctw (Danat) · platinum · size 6.5

This ring features ten natural saltwater pearls from Pinctada and Pteria species, measuring 4.4–6.0 mm and totaling 10.95 carats. The pearls display the soft glow, organic individuality, and depth of luster characteristic of natural formation. Their natural origin has been certified by Danat, the Bahrain Institute for Pearls and Gemstones.

At the center is a 5.05 carat pear-shape diamond graded G color and VS2 clarity by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). The diamond’s elegant silhouette and exceptional brilliance provide a striking counterpoint to the pearls’ natural texture. Set in platinum, the composition feels both deliberate and timeless, with strength and grace in equal measure.

Assael’s high-jewelry designs emphasize rarity, proportion, and precision, pairing important pearls with exceptional diamonds to create pieces that feel both expressive and enduring.
