This necklace is composed of twenty-three round South Sea cultured pearls measuring 16.0–19.6 mm, with a total pearl weight of 44.2 momme. The pearls display luminous natural white bodycolor, exceptional nacre depth, and strong, even luster. Each pearl was individually selected and carefully matched to achieve consistency across an unusually large and impressive size range.
The strand is finished at approximately 16.75 inches with a platinum ball clasp set with sixty natural diamonds totaling 8.29 carats. The diamond clasp provides a concentrated point of brilliance and weight that is appropriately scaled to complement pearls of this caliber without overpowering the strand.
