Our grades consider luster, shape, surface and matching together, and luster is what they turn on. For surface we describe what the piece actually looks like rather than quoting a clean percentage. At these sizes a piece will almost always carry some marking, and a number cannot tell you whether that marking matters.

These beautiful earrings feature iridescent Tahitian baroque pearls. The pearls are 8.0-9.0 mm, have very light to zero blemishes, smooth surfaces, sharp luster and strong orient.

The contours in the baroque shape of the pearl accentuate the natural colors, creating a multicolor effect within individual pearls. The honeycomb-like earring top mirrors the natural lines of the pearls – a perfect complement to the gems.

Our buying team has been making regular trips to French Polynesia to source these incredibly colorful pearls for more than 20 years. Because we personally import every Tahitian pearl we offer, we can guarantee they are 100% natural color and have never been treated in any way.
