A pair of natural color Tahitian cultured pearls measuring 13.9 x 13.4 mm sits at the center of this Angela Cummings design for Assael. The button shapes present a broad, even face that carries the full depth of the nacre, with the dark bodycolor and shifting overtone that define fine Tahitian material.
Crossed ribbons of 18K yellow gold sweep around each pearl and are set with 44 pink sapphires totaling 4.59 carats. The warm pink of the sapphires plays against the cool iridescence of the pearls, and the crisscross architecture gives the earrings dimension from every angle. Angela Cummings designs for Assael are produced in very small numbers.
