This 9.5–10.0 mm AAA quality white akoya pearl necklace represents the very upper limit of traditional akoya pearl size. Produced in extremely limited quantities, pearls in this range are seldom seen and highly sought after. For many collectors, this is the pinnacle of akoya.
Each pearl is carefully selected for near-perfect roundness, sharp mirror-like luster, and exceptionally clean surfaces. Grown in Japan’s cold coastal waters and matched by hand, this strand delivers the brightness and crisp reflection that define the finest akoya pearls, now in a size that carries unmistakable presence.
Available in 16-inch or 18-inch lengths, each strand is made to order and finished with a solid 14-karat gold clasp with safety hook.
Our long-standing relationships with Japan’s most respected family-run farms allow us access to pearls of this caliber. Strands in this size and quality are produced in very small numbers each harvest. This is akoya at its largest and most refined.
