About the Assael Collection

For more than 80 years, Assael has been one of America's most important pearl houses, known for supplying exceptional pearls to leading jewelers and collectors. Many pieces in this collection were matched and assembled over decades, with pearls of a quality and scale that are increasingly difficult to source today.

Pearl Paradise was entrusted with this finite collection as these pieces moved out of the traditional retail channel. They are now offered directly to clients, without passing through the customary retail layer.

Each piece is offered individually, and once sold it cannot be reordered. For collectors and pearl connoisseurs, this is a rare opportunity to acquire Assael pearls of a caliber, provenance, and matching quality that are increasingly difficult to replace.

Tahitian pearl and diamond two-tier earrings
12.4 × 12.6 mm button pearls · 13.0 × 14.1 mm drop pearls · platinum · diamonds (0.77 ctw)

These earrings feature a refined two-tier design combining round Tahitian button pearls and larger Tahitian drop pearls. Each earring is composed of a button pearl measuring approximately 12.4 × 12.6 mm suspended above a drop pearl measuring 13.0 × 14.1 mm. The pearls display rich natural bodycolor with layered peacock overtones, smooth surfaces, and strong, reflective luster, creating depth and visual harmony.

Crafted in platinum, the pearls are connected by diamond-set links totaling 0.77 carats. The diamond connectors add crisp brilliance and gentle movement while maintaining a balanced, high-jewelry silhouette and refined proportions.

These earrings reflect Assael’s mastery of Tahitian pearl selection and proportion, pairing complementary shapes and sizes in a design that feels both luxurious and timeless.
