A fine multicolor Tahitian strand of thirty-three perfectly round pearls measuring 10.1 to 14.2 mm, displaying the full natural range Tahiti produces, peacock, green, silver, blue, and aubergine, each pearl distinct yet matched into a cohesive whole. Thick nacre and exceptional luster carry the colors with real brightness.

A multicolor strand is a different kind of achievement from a single-color one. The challenge is not matching pearls to be identical, but selecting a range of natural colors that are individually beautiful and that work together in harmony and rhythm across the strand. Doing that at this size, with this saturation and this many distinct hues, takes years of accumulated material to draw from. The way the colors play against one another is something that only fully reveals itself in person, as the strand moves and the light shifts. Each pearl was chosen for that interplay, in the tradition Assael was known for.
