Available only in the past few years, Edison pearls represent a recent innovation in the freshwater pearl category. Instead of growing these pearls with a tissue-graft like all other freshwater pearls, an implant is used.
The strand measuring approximately 17.5 inches will arrive with a double knot between each pearl, protecting them from rubbing and scratching one another. The 14 karat clasp comes equipped with a safety catch for extra added security.
