8.0-8.5 mm Certified Tennyo Hanadama Akoya Pearl Strand

Presenting one of the finest strands of Akoya pearls available anywhere. This is an 8.0-8.5 mm, Goddess (Tennyo) graded strand of Hanadama Akoya pearls—certified at the highest level by Japan’s Pearl Science Laboratory.

You may already be familiar with Hanadama, a designation reserved for the highest quality Akoya pearls. But among these elite pearls is a category even more exclusive: Tennyo. This rare certification is reserved for strands that exceed even Hanadama standards in every measurable way—luster, surface, nacre thickness, and orient.

The 8.0-8.5 mm size is a substantial size for Akoya pearls. They are not too large, yet sure to be noticed. The pearls exhibit mirror-like luster and a soft, luminous glow that only the finest Akoya pearls can achieve.

The strand is hand-knotted on twin silk and finished with a clasp of your choice, measuring approximately 18 inches. It is accompanied by a Pearl Science Laboratory certificate indicating its rare Tennyo Hanadama status.

While we cannot add pearls to lengthen the strand, we can shorten it if you prefer a tighter fit or choker style. Any removed pearls can be returned with your order or used to create a custom matching piece—just let us know how we can help.
