This necklace features two nested strands of gem-quality akoya pearls measuring 9.0–9.5 mm. The pearls are perfectly round with exceptional luster, clean surfaces, and bright white bodycolor, characteristics that place them among the finest akoya pearls produced. The graduated double-strand format, finished at 17 and 18.5 inches, creates depth and visual richness while maintaining a refined, classical balance.

The necklace is secured with an architectural platinum clasp set with 169 baguette-cut diamonds totaling 6.06 carats. At the center of the clasp is a gem-quality white South Sea button pearl measuring 12.7 mm, selected for its luminous bodycolor, thick nacre, and strong luster. The contrast between the precision-cut diamonds, substantial South Sea pearl, and the uniform brilliance of the akoya strands elevates the piece firmly into high-jewelry territory.
