There is a quality range within hanadama standards, and these earrings are composed of top-graded hanadama akoya pearls grown in the cold coastal waters of Japan. The finest pearls from this region are known for their mirror-like luster and smooth surfaces.
For decades we have been working with the same family-run farms in Japan. These families understand our rigorous standards and select these special pearls specifically for us. They ensure the pearls are only the top range of the hanadama category.
Once the hanadama pearls are selected, they are imported and graded by our Chief Creative Officer, Hisano. She examines every strand and every pearl to ensure the quality is always the same, rejecting any pearls that do not fall within the highest hanadama range. You will recognize her commitment to quality the moment you open the box. These pearls will take your breath away.
Accompanying your earrings is a uniquely numbered and laminated pearl quality report prepared by the Pearl Science Laboratory of Japan, which describes in detail the beauty and perfection of your new pearls.

"The pearl studs are flawless and very lustrous. I am darker skinned and the pinkish hue looks radiant on my skin tone. In the interest of full disclosure though, I don't exactly have a frame of reference for the pearl grade. I only have fresh water pearls in my collection and these were my first akoyas. But now that I have these, I don't think I am going back to freshwater again (except for Pearl Paradise's lavender ones :)) The shopping experience itself was seamless and I received my earrings on the expected date. "Someone gifted me a pearl necklace many years ago that looks very expensive and I have been looking for a set of earrings that can pair with it but most of the earrings I saw were of poorer quality. So I decided to get the hanadama, and they are of better quality than the necklace but still go nicely with it. The back is large and secure and the gift box is of good quality as well. I think I am hooked on hanadama pearls ..."
