This elegant necklace features 7.5–8.0 mm AA+ quality freshwater pearls in a deep, treated black color. While black is not a naturally occurring color in freshwater pearls, these pearls have undergone a permanent color treatment to achieve their rich, dark finish.
The pearls are near-round to slightly off-round, with smooth surfaces and fine luster. Each strand is hand-matched for tone, size, and flow, then individually hand-knotted on twin silk in our Los Angeles studio. The necklace is available in 16- or 18-inch lengths and finished with your choice of solid 14 karat white or yellow gold clasp with a secure safety hook. Custom lengths are available upon request.
AA+ freshwater pearls offer excellent value with clean surfaces and natural variation in shape. The treated color is stable and permanent, providing a striking alternative to traditional white with a refined, modern feel.
