About the Assael Collection

For more than 80 years, Assael has been one of America's most important pearl houses, known for supplying exceptional pearls to leading jewelers and collectors. Many pieces in this collection were matched and assembled over decades, with pearls of a quality and scale that are increasingly difficult to source today.

Pearl Paradise was entrusted with this finite collection as these pieces moved out of the traditional retail channel. They are now offered directly to clients, without passing through the customary retail layer.

A strand of thirty-nine oval white South Sea pearls measuring 9.2–11.7 mm, graduated and matched along approximately 19 inches. The pearls are exceptional examples of the oval shape, with luminous natural white bodycolor, thick nacre, and an intense, even luster across the strand. Ovals of this quality, matched this closely in shape and color, are far harder to assemble than the shape's usual reputation suggests, and that is what sets this strand apart.

Finished at approximately 19 inches with an 18K white gold diamond ball clasp set with 112 natural diamonds totaling 0.80 carats.

A one-of-a-kind strand from the Assael Collection, held in our Los Angeles vault. Once it sells, it will not be available again.
