This refined necklace features 7.5-8.0 mm AAA quality freshwater pearls in a rich, treated black color. While black is not a naturally occurring color in freshwater pearls, each pearl in this strand has undergone a professional, permanent color treatment to achieve its striking dark appearance.
The pearls are round with high luster and smooth, clean surfaces. Each strand is hand-matched for tone, symmetry, and flow, then individually hand-knotted on twin silk in our Los Angeles studio. The necklace is available in 16- and 18-inch lengths and finished with your choice of solid 14 karat white or yellow gold clasp, each with a secure safety hook. Custom lengths are available upon request.
AAA freshwater pearls represent the highest traditional grade, offering excellent roundness, surface quality, and luster. This color-treated strand is a sophisticated, modern alternative to white, perfect for everyday wear or adding depth to a classic pearl collection.
