14.16–18.87 mm keshi South Sea pearl and diamond necklace
21 keshi South Sea pearls · 23.3 momme · approx. 16 inches · 18K white gold diamond ball clasp (158 diamonds, 2.02 ctw)
Twenty-one keshi South Sea pearls measuring 14.16 to 18.87 mm, totaling 23.3 momme. Keshi pearls form without a bead nucleus, giving them solid nacre and intense luster. Keshi at this size are extraordinarily rare, most are small, and finding twenty-one large enough to build a strand reaching nearly 19 mm is something almost never seen.
The pearls show luminous natural white bodycolor and the organic, sculptural forms that make keshi so distinctive. Finished at approximately 16 inches with an 18K white gold diamond ball clasp set with 158 natural diamonds totaling 2.02 carats, a brilliant contrast to the soft organic shapes.
A museum-caliber strand, matched over years and impossible to recreate. One of a kind.
