This necklace is crafted with seven lustrous AAA Akoya Pearls ranging in size from 6.5-8.5 mm on a 14k gold fine cable chain with lobster clasp closure.

Akoya pearls are known for their perfect round shape and unmistakable luster unique to pearls grown in the cold coastal waters of Japan. The finest pearls from this region are known for their mirror-like luster and smooth surfaces

For decades we have been working with the same family-run farms in Japan. These families understand our rigorous grading standards and select pearls specifically for us. They ensure the pearls we offer fall within the top range of the AAA category. This is something we know you'll appreciate the moment you open the box.

Beautiful necklace

"This was my first new Akoya pearl purchase; I’ve only ever bought vintage items. The glow of the pearls is comparable to my vintage Mikimotos (which date to when Mikimoto cultured their own pearls). The design is such a unique spin on the classic station/tin cup necklace — I love the “oomph” of the larger pearls on the dainty chain, and the spacing is perfect. Pearl Paradise’s customer service is out of this world. A friend recently bought designer jewelry that is much more expensive than this item, and it arrived in a soft pouch made of thin fabric. Pearl Paradise sent this (much less expensive) necklace inside a stiff envelope-style protective covering that is covered in thick, soft fabric, which includes snaps to keep the necklace in place; this was placed inside a nice box, with an elasticized ribbon to hold it together. The shipping envelope had “P. Paradise” as the sender, which is a good choice for security. Everything about this necklace — the design, packaging, and shipping — indicates it was made and sent by people who make very intentional, customer-oriented choices. I’ll absolutely be back for another item soon!"
