These akoya pearl strands are extremely limited.
Each was selected personally by Christina Assael over several decades and set aside as part of her private reserve. When we acquired the Assael Pearl Collection, these were found in a box in the back of the vault marked “Not For Sale.” They represent the strands she considered truly exceptional.
These pearls come from an earlier akoya era, primarily the 1970s and 1980s, when culturing times were longer and shells were larger. The result is a level of luster and depth that is rarely seen today.
In our nearly 30 years in business, these are the finest akoya strands we have ever offered.
Each strand is finished with an 18K gold diamond clasp set with seven natural diamonds of VS1–G quality, totaling 0.21 carats. If you prefer a different clasp, we are happy to accommodate upon request.
Strands are available in a range of sizes and can be adjusted to 18 inches or shortened as desired. In select cases, we may be able to create double strands, though availability is extremely limited depending on size.
When these strands are gone, they are gone. They will not be repeated.
