A 35-inch rope of forty baroque South Sea pearls measuring 14.8 to 20.1 mm, with an extraordinary total weight of 72.3 momme. South Sea pearls reaching 20 mm are exceptional at any shape, and a full long strand of forty at this scale is something almost never seen. The pearls carry luminous white bodycolor, thick nacre, and a glowing, reflective luster, with the baroque forms adding depth and sculptural movement across the length.

Each pearl was selected and arranged for a balanced progression of size and tone, the kind of composition at this scale that defined Assael. Finished with an 18K white gold ball clasp set with 158 natural diamonds totaling 2.30 carats.
