Assael Collection: 9.8–11.5 mm Endless Fijian Pearl Ombré Necklace

This endless Fijian pearl necklace features beautifully matched drop-shaped pearls measuring 9.8–11.5 mm, strung to a finished length of approximately 27 inches. Designed with no clasp, the strand is strung continuously and slips easily over the head, creating a clean, uninterrupted presentation of the pearls.

The pearls are arranged in a carefully graduated ombré, matched by Hisano Shepherd to showcase the full spectrum of rare natural Fijian colors. The palette moves fluidly through gold, chocolate, blue, and silver tones, highlighting the natural diversity that has made fine Fijian pearls so distinctive while maintaining balance and cohesion throughout the strand.

The pearls exhibit a bright, highly reflective luster that enhances the clarity and depth of each color transition. The drop shapes add subtle movement and character, reinforcing the organic elegance of the design.

These pearls were produced by J. Hunter Pearl Farm in Fiji, a small boutique farm with an annual production of approximately 25,000 pearls. Assael has held an exclusive relationship with the farm since 2019 and has been the only company in the United States to offer these exceptional pearls, known for a color range found nowhere else in the pearl world.

This necklace is part of the Assael collection now held in our Los Angeles vault and made available at a level of value that has not previously existed in the company’s 80-year history.
