Assael Collection: 9.7–12.0 mm Fijian Pearl Necklace

This Fijian pearl strand features beautifully matched pearls measuring 9.7–12.0 mm, graduating along a 17.75-inch length. The pearls display a rare natural chocolate body color, one of the signature hues that first brought international attention to Fijian pearls. The color is rich and even, with subtle tonal variation across the strand that gives depth without disrupting overall harmony.

The pearls exhibit a bright, highly reflective luster that enhances the saturation and clarity of the color. The strand is finished with an 18k white gold clasp set with 126 diamonds totaling 1.07 carats. The white gold and diamond setting provides a crisp contrast that highlights the warmth of the pearls without overpowering them.

These pearls were produced by J. Hunter Pearl Farm in Fiji, a small boutique farm with an annual production of approximately 25,000 pearls. Assael has held an exclusive relationship with the farm since 2019 and has been the only company in the United States to offer these exceptional pearls, known for a color range found nowhere else in the pearl world.

This necklace is part of the Assael collection now held in our Los Angeles vault and made available at a level of value that has not previously existed in the company’s 80-year history.
