Assael Collection: 9.6–13.0 mm Fijian Pearl Necklace

This Fijian pearl strand features beautifully matched pearls measuring 9.6–13.0 mm, graduating along a 17.25-inch length. The pearls display a rare green-gold body color with subtle chocolate undertones, a naturally occurring combination that is uniquely characteristic of fine Fijian pearls. The color shifts gently across the strand, creating depth and visual warmth while maintaining balance and cohesion.

The pearls exhibit a bright, highly reflective luster that brings clarity and dimension to the color. The strand is finished with an 18k yellow gold clasp set with 126 diamonds totaling 1.12 carats, adding a refined point of brilliance while remaining proportionate to the size and presence of the pearls.

These pearls were produced by J. Hunter Pearl Farm in Fiji, a small boutique farm with an annual production of approximately 25,000 pearls. Assael has held an exclusive relationship with the farm since 2019 and has been the only company in the United States to offer these exceptional pearls, known for a color range found nowhere else in the pearl world.

This necklace is part of the Assael collection now held in our Los Angeles vault and made available at a level of value that has not previously existed in the company’s 80-year history.
