Assael Collection: 10.0–12.0 mm Fijian Pearl Necklace

This Fijian pearl strand features beautifully matched pearls measuring 10.0–12.0 mm, arranged along a 17.5-inch length. The strand presents a naturally occurring range of Fijian colors, including soft gold, green-gold, champagne, and subtle darker tones. This multicolor composition reflects the natural diversity that has made fine Fijian pearls so distinctive, with the colors balanced for cohesion rather than contrast.

The pearls exhibit a bright, highly reflective luster that brings clarity and dimension to each hue. The strand is finished with an 18k yellow gold clasp set with 126 diamonds totaling 1.07 carats. The warm tone of the gold complements the varied pearl colors while the diamond setting provides a refined point of brilliance without overpowering the strand.

These pearls were produced by J. Hunter Pearl Farm in Fiji, a small boutique farm with an annual production of approximately 25,000 pearls. Assael has held an exclusive relationship with the farm since 2019 and has been the only company in the United States to offer these exceptional pearls, known for a color range found nowhere else in the pearl world.

This necklace is part of the Assael collection now held in our Los Angeles vault and made available at a level of value that has not previously existed in the company’s 80-year history.
