Assael Collection: 10.0–11.7 mm Fijian Pearl Necklace

This Fijian pearl strand features beautifully matched pearls measuring 10.0–11.7 mm, arranged along a 17.25-inch length. The pearls are oval to drop shaped, selected for consistency and flow, and display a vivid multicolor palette marked by intense blues, peacock greens, deep purples, and complementary darker tones. This high-saturation color range is among the most striking expressions of fine Fijian pearls.

The pearls exhibit a bright, highly reflective luster that amplifies the depth and contrast of the colors, giving the strand strong visual presence and movement. The strand is finished with an 18k white gold clasp set with 126 diamonds totaling 1.07 carats. The cool tone of the white gold reinforces the clarity of the colors while allowing the pearls to remain the focal point.

These pearls were produced by J. Hunter Pearl Farm in Fiji, a small boutique farm with an annual production of approximately 25,000 pearls. Assael has held an exclusive relationship with the farm since 2019 and has been the only company in the United States to offer these exceptional pearls, known for a color range found nowhere else in the pearl world.

This necklace is part of the Assael collection now held in our Los Angeles vault and made available at a level of value that has not previously existed in the company’s 80-year history.
