This strand of natural white hanadama akoya pearls is prized for its exceptional luster and clarity. The reflections are sharp and mirror-like, with depth that gives the pearls a bright, lively appearance.
The pearls measure 7.5–8.0 mm, one of the most popular and versatile akoya sizes. The necklace is strung to 18 inches, the classic princess length that sits at or just below the collarbone.
Each pearl is individually knotted on twin silk to prevent contact and wear. The necklace is finished with a solid 14K gold clasp with a safety hook for added security.
Most akoya pearls are lightly pinked after harvest to enhance their color. Natural white akoya pearls are different. These pearls are selected for their naturally white body color and fine luster and are not subjected to the pinking process. The result is a bright, naturally white appearance.
For decades, we have worked closely with a small network of pearl producers and specialists in Japan who understand our standards and select these rare pearls specifically for us from the very top range of the hanadama category.
Once imported, every necklcae is carefully reviewed by our Chief Creative Officer, Hisano, to ensure consistency, balance, and overall quality.
Each necklace is accompanied by a uniquely numbered pearl quality report from the Pearl Science Laboratory of Japan, confirming the pearls’ hanadama classification and natural white color.
