For more than 80 years, Assael has been one of America's most important pearl houses, known for supplying exceptional pearls to leading jewelers and collectors. Many pieces in this collection were matched and assembled over decades, with pearls of a quality and scale that are increasingly difficult to source today.

Pearl Paradise was entrusted with this finite collection as these pieces moved out of the traditional retail channel. They are now offered directly to clients, without passing through the customary retail layer.

These drop earrings feature two exceptional Tahitian pearls measuring 16.3 × 13.0 mm, selected for their deeply saturated natural bodycolor, vivid peacock overtones, and high, mirror-like luster. Their full, elegant silhouettes give the pair a refined, high-jewelry presence and highlight the pearls’ gem-level quality.

Mounted above each pearl is a cushion-cut tourmaline, with a total gemstone weight of 5.19 carats. The tourmalines display warm, sunset-toned hues that contrast beautifully with the cool, iridescent colors of the Tahitian drops, creating a striking and contemporary color harmony.
