About the Assael Collection

For more than 80 years, Assael has been one of America's most important pearl houses, known for supplying exceptional pearls to leading jewelers and collectors. Many pieces in this collection were matched and assembled over decades, with pearls of a quality and scale that are increasingly difficult to source today.

Pearl Paradise was entrusted with this finite collection as these pieces moved out of the traditional retail channel. They are now offered directly to clients, without passing through the customary retail layer.

A long 36-inch strand of seventy large South Sea keshi pearls measuring 8.9–14.6 mm, with a substantial total weight of 36.0 momme, in a natural interplay of golden and white tones. Keshi pearls form without a bead nucleus, giving them solid nacre and exceptional luster, and at these sizes the organic shapes carry real presence and movement.

Each keshi was selected and arranged for balanced color and size progression along the full length. Finished with an 18K yellow gold clasp set with 112 natural diamonds totaling 0.94 carats. At approximately 36 inches, it can be worn long, doubled, or layered.

A one-of-a-kind strand from the Assael Collection, held in our Los Angeles vault. Once it sells, it will not be available again.
