This is a Monili designer clasp featuring a natural abalone pearl with iridescent color. The clasp can be used to customize your strand of pearls between 7.0 and 9.0 mm.
The hand-crafted clasp is made with 18 karat yellow gold in a phalaenopsis orchid shape and weighs a total of 12 grams. The abalone pearl exhibits very few blemishes on the side of the pearl, valuable blue-green color, and symmetrical shape. This clasp operates with a bayonet system (push & turn) where both ends of the pearl necklace locks into both sides of the clasp.
Abalone pearls in the pink, green, and blue colors are the rarest and most valuable. Symmetry of shape and cleaner surfaces also add value to an abalone pearl. This Monili clasp will make your necklace exceptionally rare and unique.
