This pendant is truly for pearl lovers! Most pendants use a gold chain, but the chain in this design is actually a strand of natural Akoya keshi pearls. Keshi pearls are 100% pearl nacre and commonly known as "accidental pearls" as they are a by-product of a pearl culturing operation.
Suspended from the keshi pearl strand is an extra large and valuable White South Sea baroque pearl. Their large size, limited culturing area, and extended growth period all combine to make White South Sea pearls the rarest of all pearl types.
The White South Sea pearl is available in your choice of size from 14 mm to 17 mm. The 2.0-3.0 mm Akoya keshi pearl strand is finished at approximately 16.5 inches with a solid 14-karat gold fish hook clasp.
