We first made this magnificent necklace nearly five years ago. We received a call from a customer who had seen this piece on Nancy Pelosi - before she became the Speaker of the House. We spent hours researching images of Ms. Pelosi online until we found the perfect shot. We gladly recreated her strand and upgraded it as well, to the highest quality pearls available in both Tahitian and South Sea. Until today, this is still one of our most popular pieces.
The perfect pearls are large, ranging from 11.0-13.0 mm in size. The strand is a combination of natural-color Tahitian, white and golden South Sea pearls. We match every strand to order, using pearls we have set aside previously for earring pairs - our absolute best.
Because we create each strand ourselves, we are not limited to any specific pearl size range or strand length. We are happy to adjust the piece to your exact specifications, and finish it with your choice of 14-karat clasp.
